• Tampa Bay Times, "Words war expands to computer charge", 1992/08/30 (text copy from the Citrus Times which credited the St. Petersburg Times): "INVERNESS - The war of words between Lisa Beville and the woman she hopes to unseat, Supervisor of Elections Wilma Anderson, has expanded to include the state Division of Elections and Triad GSI, the company that supplies the county's ballot-counting machinery. In a series of letters to Anderson, Beville, who is challenging her former boss in Tuesday's Democratic primary, recently questioned the validity of the computer software, the security of the ballots and events surrounding the 1988 primary. According to Beville, Triad workers adjusted the software to clear up a ballot-counting problem shortly before the election and the machinery should have been recertified following the work. She said Friday that when she mentioned this to Anderson, she was told "to mind my own business, that I don't need to recite election law to the supervisor." "I don't remember saying that," Anderson said Friday. "If I had, she probably would have told me to f--- off, as she did on other occasions. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I just don't remember it happening." Anderson said that in 1988, the Triad workers were fixing problems with the machines caused by a lightning strike. Triad president Tod Rapp concurred in a letter to Anderson. Beville disputes that the weather had anything to do with the repair work. But even it if did, "My question is, why was it a secret? The party chairmen were not called in. The canvassing board was not notified. The Division of Elections was not notified. "Why was I forbidden to mention it? If the party chairmen and division had been notified, it may not have been a big deal. But it should have been made public. Everyone has a right to know." Beville said state law allows minor changes, such as correcting misspelled names on the ballot, to occur without the supervisor having to get the system recertified. But if the computer program is altered, which she claims is what occurred in 1988, the tabulation system must be recertified" - note that this occurred in Citrus County FL, home to the Jessica Lunsford murder and the death of Kenny Ritchie involving John Silvestro's son

After hearing about the arrest of two Lake Worth men who tried to sell a stolen Palm Beach County voting machine on eBay, company employees wondered if there might be a market for legitimate merchandise. So Psephos, which sells election supplies, pulled some Votomatics out of storage and had another company print up a replica of Palm Beach's butterfly ballot. The package, which includes 10 punch-card ballots "so you can explore the system yourself," sells for $99.95 on the company's Web site. "We have a bunch of used vote recorders in stock, and this looked like a way to get some of them sold," said president Tod Rapp, who unloaded three on eBay and an unknown number direct from the company. "We've had these sitting in the warehouse for quite a while now. Somebody said, 'Why don't we sell them?'""

While there has been no suggestion of it anywhere in the media, the name “Triad” was used extensively by Khashoggi at exactly the same time (the early 80’s) and in exactly the same place (Palm Beach, Florida) as the “Triad Governmental Systems” involved in Ohio’s current election “difficulties.” Khashoggi owned a number of companies named “Triad.” Khashoggi owned “Triad International Marketing.” “Northrop, the Los Angeles-based aircraft and electronics manufacturer, owes Triad International Marketing, S.A., a Liechtenstein corporation controlled by Khashoggi, $31 million in commissions on sales to the Saudi air force,” reported the L.A. In “The Blue Grass Conspiracy” by Sally Denton, she revealed that the large drug smuggling operation called “The Company,” headquarters were near Lexington, Kentucky, at Triad Farms, owned by Khashoggi.
